These beanies, turbans and berets are hand knit by local indie brand Studio Ked using yarn sourced from our dear friends' family farm in Washington state. Completely free of dyes and harsh chemicals, these hats are crafted with the precision and attention to detail you only get with small batch production.

About Alpaca Wool:

Due to its semi-hollow fiber structure, alpaca wool is naturally smoother than merino wool. It has anti-microbial properties, a higher tensile strength, natural insulation, and greater water resistance. Not only are these hats warm, durable and soft, but they are also hypoallergenic due to the lack of lanolin in alpaca wool. This means they are a great choice for those with sensitive skin or wool allergies.

Our hats come in a range of natural colors - soft greys, off black charcoal, and deep chocolatey browns - all the colors of the alpacas themselves, no dyes added!
